Sales Head - Gurgaon

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent Business Risk Management in the operating markets
  • Ensure plans are developed, implemented and monitored in conjunction with relevant cross functional teams and aligned with the organisation’s brand strategy
  • Accountable for delivering local Commercial P&L goals and other performance objectives & financial KPIs
  • Provide support to the managing director and senior management to define and implement location strategies
  • P&L responsibility for the vertical accountability for meeting growth targets
  • Direct management of the Sales, Account Management, Business Development and Operational teams of the location
  • Prepare sales contract ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and client needs

Qualifications

ROLE REQUIREMENTS & DELIVERABLES FOR SALES- HEAD

  • Ability to engage Senior leadership in all our client bases and deliver service/expertise on critical high impact initiatives
  • Ability to manage expectations of Senior Executives (MD, COO, CEO, CHRO)
  • Articulation skills a must when managing Senior stakeholders
  • Construct and administer project plans
  • Provide detailed status reports and be accountable for highly visible projects
  • It is required that the individual has a good hold on business financial knowledge (P&L, monthly financial statements etc.) for effective decisions concerning profits from the operating location.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate / Post-Graduate in any discipline
  • >10 years of experience as a sales / business head. Gurgaon experience only.
  • Preferably be from Travel / Tourism / Hospitality domain
  • Proficient in English and Hindi.
